I think the keys just got one. I expect that to work it's way up in the next day or so. I'm right on the Georgia border so taking a wait and see approach for the moment.

Miami and the keys have evac orders. Ugh my tank just cycled too at lest I only have a few chromis and firefish, but still ugh

Going to brave the stores and try to buy some more water. Generator is on the back porch and lots of airpumps with batteries. Just have to fill the 55g RO/DI container overnight and fill the gas cans as I will be as ready as I can get. Fortunately in a block house out of evacuation zones but I have a lot of big trees that worry me every time.

Spaghetti models look to show it's going through south Florida and then up the eastern coast of Florida. Tomorrow should be much more interesting to see.

Here, in Tallahassee, water is gone as is propane. Sold out early this morning. I already filled up some water storage, just in case. Also had to buy some selter water (that and beer where all that was left) bottles for freezing in the event I lose power and tank heats up.

Hoping Tallahassee stays out of this, but hoping more that this thing turns early on and misses all of us.

Great, were on the east coast. I just can't imagine this tank dying. Some of the fish and colonies are over 7 years old. Got the generator, plenty of RODI, fingers crossed.

I'm located in Jacksonville, and thankfully it shouldn't be too bad if it gets here... In the case of power loss I ordered a battery powered air pump for my 12 gal that's supposed to get here tomorrow. I'm hoping we won't be without power for too long! Last year we lost it for a day from Matthew. Be safe everyone!

I grew up in South Florida. I hear many of you guys talking about staying and prepping. After seeing what happened with Andrew I would strongly encourage anybody thinking about riding out a Cat 5 to think otherwise. If this thing makes landfall as a Cat 5, fish tanks will be the least of your problems. Good luck and stay safe guys, and for the love of all that is holy GET OUT.

Yep. Filled up the generator yesterday and have 2 5gal gas cans filled. Even filled the lawn mower so I can drain it if necessary for the gen. I have a battery powered air pump somewhere. Need to figure out what box I put it in when we moved and find some batteries for it. Worst case will be to use at least one of the cars as a gen with an inverter if we run out of gas for the gen. Praying for all of Florida at this point but if it gets bad for the Orlando area everything south of us is royally screwed. So, more prayers for those folks.

Stocked up and closing my keys house now, tying down my boats. 3 more properties to close up, then riding it out with a whole house generator.
Hopefully done by tomorrow midday or so.

I'm in central Florida supplies are wiped out .I work for the power company as a lineman they told us be prepared to be restoring power for up to a month I have a generator big enough to power most of the house and reef but refueling will be up to my wife :( hopefully it just brushes fl

Took us 2 weeks to finish after Hermine came through. It was tough, very tough, but we had a lot of help, which I'm sure you'll be getting, possibly from us.

There are still models showing Central Florida spared, so it's possible!

I wish I had my corals ready for fragging. I'd send them out to get your tanks back up if I could.

I'm in the FL panhandle... I've got a solar panel, regulator and an automatic power transfer switch I'm configuring to run my Tunze 6045s. I think I can run my AI sol LEDs and my Tunze top off as well. The solar panel can handle it, just need the right configuration for voltage.
