Flow for tropical fish

I know this isn’t the write place to be posting so I apologise, I have recently upgraded by saltwater tank and was left with my old waterbox 20gallon, so I decided to put my tropical fis in their, small neon terra and zebra danios, aswell as a rosy barb. Now the outtake pipe of the tank is quite powerful and it is adding a lot of flow to the water, the fish don’t seem as settled as normal especially the tetras which in the old tank would stay stationary a lot do the time, but now they are being sort of pushed around. My main question is, is it ok for them to have this amount of flow, and is there a way I can reduce it ?

Do you have a video? The fish you have should be fine with decently high flow, but if it’s too high you might need to lower it. There’s a few ways to lower it, for example, you can put a sponge on the nozzle, get a diffuser, maybe put a piece of wood in the way, and there’s usually a flow valve that you can lower.

OMG...he's gorgeous. I'm super jelly. I set up a planted betta tank for my wife, but her fish is nowhere near that pretty.
