I recently got back into the hobby after a 7 year break. I had a 120 gallon mixed reef for rougly 8 years before my break and I used 2 mp40s and 2mp10s and had plenty of flow. Right now in the 50 cube I have an old Jebao wp10 and an old aqueon powerhead that i had laying around. Both powerheads are mounted on the back glass on oposite sides of the overflow pointing to the center of the front glass. Id like to replace at least the aqueon pump for something else. Possibly just another jebao wavemaker. I love ecotech but id like to keep the wavemakers on the back glass and would need something that i can aim towards the center of the tank. Any input is appreciated, feels good to be back.

The Reef Octopus Octopulse 2 is a good size for your tank and the flow direction can be angled. If you want to keep increasing flow as the tank grows in you can get a second one and run them on one controller.

On the back glass,
I have the jebao (gyre type) ecp-m70 in a 25x25x19 tank
70ish%
It ok, ecp- m90 will be too strong.
