Good evening,
I am debating between MP 40’s or Gyre pumps in a 180 tank. 6x2x2 setup. I have always ran Vortechs but want no dead spots. So I am asking for opinions from fellow reefers? I appreciate y’all.

I personally like Nero 5's with guards (they have big openings where fish can get caught). Fish of Hex (https://fishofhex.com/collections/nem-fish-protection-covers) has these for a reasonable price. Nero 5's have great controllability as well as push a lot of water.
