Fluconazole effects on SPS (acros specifically)

Could the Acropora be affected by a drop in pH? Instructions seem to say to turn off skimmer. Maybe just taking off the cup would work?

You should not turn off your skimmer. Just remove the cup and let it overflow.

And while a ph drop within reason shouldn't affect sps, it could affect them indirectly by changing alk demands where if you don't simultaneously change your dosing levels you could get a sizable alk spike (this is more prevalent in high demand sps dom systems ime)

Quick bump. What flucanzole would you guys recommend? Have been dealing with bryopsis mainly on one rock and some frag plugs but I've been doing manual removal constantly. Want to try to eradicate it finally. Mixed reef with mostly sps so have been hesitant to treat
