anyone ever used these as a dip. I dont like the browned out part with other dips and read a big thread on rc about it. Curious about mixing these with interceptor for a dip on new acros

Yep-I use fluke tabs all the time, right after the interceptor treatment and most corals hold their color. I tried the TMPCC and browned out the first few corals, that was enough. I used to use only fluke tabs but the red bugs got through one time and I had to treat the tank, now everything gets both and I haven't had any aefw problems since.

Have any of you every actually had AEFW's and had fluke tabs work? I've seen so much opposing opinion on it (most saying it does not work if you actually have them in the tank), but have never tried it myself. I don't have a problem with TMPCC (and I know it works like a champ), so I'll stick with it, but am curious.

I had them in my 450g before I set up my 700g-you'll know if you have them when your corals discolor and begin to receed-I'm not going to try to sell anyone on fluke tabs vs. tmpcc-but I know what works best for me.

Never had them in my tank, but I got some frags that had AEFW on them an the fluke tabs worked for me. Much cheaper than TMPCC. I have a 100ct bottle of the fluke tabs and use them whenever I get new corals.

Seachem reef dip works as well. It doesn't kill them, but it causes them to get stunned and fall off. Sure fire way to tell if the coral is infested or not.

I use fluke tabs and interceptor all at the same time when I dip. I have never had a color issue or loss due to the dip either. I have had some frags come in with AEFW and the dip sure did make them jump off. They did not die however but they did jump off the coral quickly.

If you want something that kills them then I recommend the Two little fishes dip. That kills them dead but be careful how you mix it as it is strong.
