Parameters today are reading at:
PH: 8.2
Alkalinity: 7.5 dKH/2.68 Mep/L
Ammonia: 0.03
Nitrite: >1 (>5 API test since higher range than Red Sea)
Nitrate: 15
PO4: 0.01
still no clue why nitrites are so high even after a 60% water change yesterday…. Any way to get them down other than large water changes as they seem to be doing nothing for the nitrites. I know they are not harmful to marine critters, but the high number still freaks me out + my corals have been seeming unhappy lately and that is all that seems out of order…
