Hey guys!

I have a Fluval Marine 3.0 light for my 75 gallon tank. And this is what I currently have set up. I also have zoas, green star polyps and a long tentacle anemone. Would these settings be okay?

And if not, what would be your recommended settings? Thanks!

These are my settings. But I’m not sure if they are any good. In fact I wonder if they should Ben adjusted.

Yeah I'm not too sure myself. Would love to have insight from others as well to make sure I have proper settings for all my coral. Lol.

You only have one? They are very weak lights, you are going to want all channels maxed for a lot of the day and even then the nem is not going to make it. Anything on the sand bed is going to struggle. The gsp will be fine.

For a 75, you should have 2 or supplimental light.
I have one 3.0, supplimented with original Fluval LED marine light, and 2 T8's in a fixture for my lighting

Check out my build thread to see my tank, nothing dying.
I appreciate it man! I'll get another one then. Thank you.

The interesting thing is, the nems, and most corals are doing well and seem to bleachout when I crank all channels to max.
Or maybe they are failing due to low light?

I'm thinking of buying this light, but am unsure about something. Let's assume that 8,000 K to 10,000 K is supposed to be good for coral growth. Is this correct: this light does not have setting where you can essentially just set it to 8,000 K, for example. You have to figure out what mix of colors works best by yourself and Fluval does not provide any guidance as to what settings are best for growth, etc. You just have to guess and ask others.

It comes with 3 default preset settings you can use. The reason I ask for others settings is because im not sure if the presets are good enough.

Do any of them indicate they are for growth? or are they just like day, night, etc? Thanks
The only thing I know is that the 3 settings are called..

1. Deep Sea
2. Sunny Day
3. Color Boost

I'm going to assume the color boost mode is for coral? I'd have to check again when I get a chance and see if they have anything specific saying what the lights are best for.

So I've gotten another light and I have the same settings as before for a few days now, should I just keep it like that or change the 2nd one up later on? And what would you recommend the settings be for the 2nd light?
That would be totally up to your preference

Edit : Just noticed that you probably have the strip. My post was for the Nano.

Original : I just put up some numbers on these here. Mine ended up in the closet for a future 5-gal ultra-nano.

These are my current settings.
I get about 250 par at most. But read up to 600 par right at the lens.
