Fluval marine LED?

Just picked one up from Petco because it was so cheap, I got the 48-60 inch one. My question is, is this a good light for corals? I am building a saltwater tank and have never had corals before. If it isn't suitable I can always take it back.

It'll work on a shallow tank with soft corals. Other than that, it's unsuitable for a reef. There's a distinct difference between a marine tank (generally fish and rock only) and a reef tank.

How shallow of a tank?

No more than 12" deep I'd say. Either that or pile the rocks a lot higher to the waterline that most would.
