Hello fellow reefers,
Had a fluval m40 running for three months now that included the ps1 skimmer. Never used the skimmer but two days ago thought I would give it a try. For the first day it was it running ok and was surprised by the amount of gunk it was removing, however, 24 hours later the skimmer was making an awful noise, the pump is running but I'm not getting any bubbles or foam at all. Have checked that nothing is blocked, have moved skimmer between min and max water level, air intake is fully open and I've even tried blowing down air line to get it to start again but nothing is working. Does anyone have any help, suggestions or experience with said skimmer?
