Fluval SK400 surface skimmer get or pass

Hello, I had a question about surface skimmers. Fluval released a surface skimmer called SK400 surface skimmer, below is the YouTube video:



I use a canister filter and have for 1.5 years on my salt water tank. It has a layer of biofilm on the water surface. Do you think this product is worth getting to combat the grime? Or is there any other options. Unfortunately my tank stand has small cabinets (not big enough for the FX6 I use) so I can not put a sump unless I tear down the tank and replace the stand.

I haven't used the one posted in this thread, but I was using EHEIM skim350 on my 60 gallon cube that didn't have a sump. It was small and worked quite well, but the small filter inside had to be replaced pretty often - every 3/4 days I'd put a new piece of filter floss inside.
