"Follow" feature...

Prior to the site overhaul, I posted a question regarding the "Follow" feature. I noted that even though I follow people on the site, I never receive any alerts about new posts or other activity of someone I am following.

If I remember correctly, I was informed that this feature was "broken".

I haven't observed any difference since the site overhaul, which I thought might make correct this.

So I'll ask again; what is the purpose of being able to follow someone, if the only thing I can do is see who I am following (and who's following me) in my account page?

Am I missing something?

Dom - great question! The feature actually does work - you just have to take an additional step and go to your news feed. If you click on your avatar on the top bar (toward the right side) and then select "news feed" you will see the reactions and posts for those members that you follow. Hope this helps!
