I keep hearing people talk about the "foot Print" of a protein skimmer. What is this exactly?

Ok kewl. Thanks for the info. My new skimmer will be here next week and I will have everything on my new set up. Should really start seeing a difference in the water clarity once I get it up and goin. Can't wait.
