using Chrome and it loaded same fast speed as rest of the page- and I like it- I don't need an entire page to see what the forums are. might feel differently on my phone though...I'll let ya know next time I try it out

it loaded fast enough on my droid. i like the idea of the left hand column being up to date posts but on my phone the right hand forum tabs are pretty crowded and the words and banners overlap a bit. cool that your improving the site hth

Personally, I like it.

If you don't, there is an easy method for getting it off of your screen. So, it's a no-lose situation, as far as I'm concerned.

I don't like it, the forum page is too cluttered. Why see new posts in the forum section when you can check that in the "New Posts" tab?

The good thing is that I can close it, so I'm happy about that.

I like it,it's easy to close if you don't like it so it's not hurting anything,it doesn't seem to slow anything down either

I didn't notice till you said something, but only because it's rare I go to the forums page. I usually just click on blogs and new posts since I am on all the time. ;)

I like it but I don't go to the forum page too often because that page in particular loads very slow for me. I don't know if it's just me because I am really due for a pc upgrade.

I like the look but not sure yet if it is something that I'll like using.

Maybe I can update in a few days after playing around with it.

I agree with Paul on this one. It loads slow but I think it is a nice add.

I agree its a little slow loading but overall i dont mind it. I usually use new posts most of the time but i think its a nice addition plus the being able to close function is good!

I don't like it. I've elected to close it, but it still loads when the page comes up, and then closes itself. One thing I've LOVED about R2R is the speed compared to other sites, so I wouldn't like anything to effect that.
