Found some cool stuff in my tank today.

After reading the clown fish breeding topics it got me even more puzzled. So I decided to look around in my tank and see what was going on after I put some mysis shrimp in it to feed a few of my fish ect. Not sure if my female clown is ready to spawn or not so I decided to take a few pictures. My male and female always tend to "wiggle" at one another. Normally its the male to the female. Here is a picture of them. Also wile feeding I noticed my dunkin's wile they grabbed some of the shrimp in the water and saw this.

Anyone know if the female clown looks like she may lay eggs?

Do you notice any cleaning of a particular spot around where they hang out? One of the things they will do is start cleaning by mouthing and rubbing a spot on rocks or some where near a coral that they claim home preparing it for eggs.....My B&Ws right now are doing this to an over hang next to the Pagoda they live in.....Haven't laid eggs yet but I am pretty sure it will happen within the next week or 2......The male will flicker at the female when he is trying to set up the relationship and it will continue I have noticed after the fish have paired up.....which what you are seeing right now.....

1. At what age will they start mating / laying eggs?
2. How often do they mate once they start?
3. Do they normally lay eggs in the area near their hosting site, or do they lay eggs someplace ore reote?

Generally speaking after a year or so. They become mature fish around that time...

2. How often do they mate once they start?

Once a month on average in the wild it is done by the moon phase so the eggs hatch on the next new moon(complete darkness)...

3. Do they normally lay eggs in the area near their hosting site, or do they lay eggs someplace ore remote?

Usually near hosting site for safety of the fish and eggs. In the wild they will lay eggs on the rocks under the edge of an anemone for safety and it is suggested that it helps keep the eggs clean as well and strengthens the new fish to the scent of an anemone which reinforces that symbiosis.....But I am not sure on that one having never studied them.
