Can carpet anenomes be fragged or cut? Mine is getting large for my tank (150 gallon). Can I just clip him in half like a coral? :)

Probably not, but hoping yes.

Not really.
If you do try to have to cut directly through the mouth so that both pieces have a mouth.

technically it CAN be done but there’s a 50/50 chance one or both half’s will die.

not worth it IME

Im more worried about slime killing my other tank inhabitants than losing the carpet.
Maybe you’re better off just finding a new owner than and getting a new smaller nem?
I’d hate to see a big nem (probably OLD) die because you didn’t really care about loosing it and wanted a smaller one :(

Please don't; that is almost certainly going to kill him. Trade in/sell/donate if you really don't want him in the tank. As per the rules of this forum, ethical options only.
