Frag Color

Do frags change color as they mature into colonies. I'm just wondering cause I have a couple frags that aren't the same color as full colonies I've seen on the internet. I've also heard people say they have frags that look pretty blah and then all of the sudden years later turn into a beautiful coral.

lighting and placement and flow have a lot to do with it.

alot of times new frags are brown cause of stress once they get acclimated to your tank and you have stable parameters and close to 0 nitrates and phosphates then the frag will color up
