Frag gap in water?

Can I just rip a piece of gsp on a rock in my tank? Will there be any toxins or what not coming out of the coral after ripping a good chunk off?

I don't believe there would be with GSP but I'm not sure on that specific coral. However if you're running carbon, as long as your tank isn't tiny it should be fine IMO. If it's like a 5-10g tank or something, maybe verify first lol
