Frag growing

im new to reef keeping and was wondering how long it takes for frags to grow to a decent size. Because they are much cheaper

Depends on the type of coral. Some grow very quickly 1" in a few weeks and others grow painfully slow.
 
Also depends on your water quality for the particular coral ur keeping. Also depends on if ur feeding it or if any fish/inverts may be harassing it. Long story short no one's tank grows coral like another person's tank. To many variables.
