Frag tank setup

Im trying to hook up a 24x24x12 frag/toss in crap tank and i want to plumb it into my main 120,question is i have a mag 18 with a manifold already coming off the Display and wondering if the return from the frag tank needs to have a ball valve on its line,Also im going to run it staight back into the sump where my return from the display goes. Do i need to control the water coming outta the frag tank or not..Thanks for any help anyone can give me

I never like to restrict drains....they should balance themselves out. I would put a ball valve on the return line though.

ok i got that on the main tank coming from the display tank,so let the water flow all the wayopen on the return to main display

I would put ball valves on all. Complete control can help with noise too.
