Frammer spitting out reef roid

This is my first time feeding reef roid (I usually reed corals brine shrimp/red sea AB+. This is towards later in the night where the lights are lowered and the coral is starting to close up

I've seen my frammer "poop" before and this is definitely not that and definitely the reef roid, any ideas why?
 
Too much, possibly not used to it, dosed too close...
I'll try again in 2 days and update, but I fed them maybe 4-5 hours ago, which is why this is suprising that it's happening 4-5 hours later.

I dose Reef Roids 1-2x a week max, and usually at half (or less) than the recommended amount.

Do you spot feed or just toss it in the tank near the powerhead?
