frankinstine bounce

i have a supposed to be frankenstein bounce mushroom about size of a quarter that looks to have a small 1/4 inch upside down one in center can i take scissors or a knife and snip it off and have two or is this a bad idea or will it eventually drop off thanks for any help Terry
