This would be valid if they were requiring 5 star reviews. They simply ask you to leave honest review, and afterwards, they refund you in full for the product. If someone feels pressure to leave a good review, that’s on them. There is nothing in the message you quoted even implying the review must be positive in order to get the refund.
Here’s all you need to doI ordered the vacuum sealer to test and review. I wrote up a big nice (honest) review, pointing out some shortcomings as well as what I liked. I also DISCLOSED that I was being compensated in the way of a refund. You know, the honest thing to do! But guess what.... Amazon wouldn't post my review because I disclosed that I was being refunded! I have no problem with people being sent things to test and review (for a refund in this case) ***IF*** that fact is disclosed. But it seems Amazon does not agree, and does NOT allow reviews like that. I didn't know this until after I tried to post my review (it's in the "fine print" apparently).
@INKBIRD_official please make your management aware that the way you are running this program is prohibited by Amazon TOS. It also has put us as reviewers in a bad position. In order to be able to qualify for the refund, we have to post a review - but if we disclose the refund (which is the ethical thing to do), the review won't be posted because incentivizing reviews violates Amazon's TOS. So if we choose to take the ethical route, we won't be able to qualify for the refund!
@revhtree I realize Inkbird is a forum sponsor, but this practice probably needs addressed by admin.
