Freshwater Aragonite for saltwater

I have some leftover aragonite sand from a cichlid fry tank and was wondering if I can use that sand for my tank (75 reef).
I would rinse before use.

Ok thanks I’ll clean it sometime soon, I need it for mangroves and looks better than jars in the sump.

Its the same stuff. So yes will work just fine in saltwater.
