frog spawn and purple slime?

Im still Learning to navigate this site, can some one help me find articles on how to deal with purple slime, I think its what i have on my Frogs spawns.

Purple slime? Do you mean brown jelly disease, or BJD?

I guess I should start with I don't know what I'm talking. I just heard people mentioning purple slime....

I see some cyanobacteria, it comes in after the coral dies. Not the cause of the death though. Purple slime, or typically called red slime is just cyano.

No BJD on there that I can see.

They use to open up so much, and now about 50% of them have died. I assume it was because of that purple slime, and it's hard to scrape off

This is a ongoing thing with all of my lps, they not thriving any more in my tank, but sps is super happy. I think it's ever since I used gfo in my tank to drop phosfates a wile back. Doing so I made lps mad and sps happy
