Frog spawn massive bubble

Has anyone seen a frog or octospawn do this? I posted it on my local Facebook reef page and they suggested it’s “splitting” but I don’t think so... I’ve seen heads grow on similar types of LPS in my tank and it looks nothing like it.

Looks like it has something large like a snail or chunk of meat caught in it.

When my euphyllia do this, they typically split a head.

It starts at the bubble, then you'll see a clear division, then suddenly the bubble will deflate and you'll see 2 mouths forming where the bubble was.

Yes they typically split differently, but I have seen them split heads in this manner also.

Well that’s reassuring, thank you. I think my concern is how long it’s been. Probably a month and a half?

I’m not sure if it is splitting, but there shouldn’t be anything to worry about, mine did this before and always keep growing.
