from florida pan handle

hi!
thanks for letting me into the community :) im looking forward to gaining new information and learning more about our fabulous hobby! iv been keeping aquariums for 8 years and saltwater for 7. right now I have a 140gallon system aggressive tank and a 40gallon mangrove/reef tank. ive had the mangrove tank set up for a little over a year and the aggressive tank set up for 4 years. im wondering where on this forum I can discuss and learn about keeping mangroves? lol I just put my first coral in the mangrove tank so I can officially say im a reefer! any way supper happy to be here and looking forward to being a member of this community :)

Welcome aboard and I as you like mangroves and would enjoy having a dedicated tank just for mangroves. Hundreds of them to tie into the main DT.

I have about 25 in a fuge for esthetics because I realize that few in numbers do not make a real difference in lowering nitrates as a huge collection would.

I have one mangrove growing in my sump. I brought back from Longboat key as a pod laying on the beach. It took almost a year to leaf, and doing well now.
