[emoji33] Yep! I decided after 2 years to go bigger. After a few issues with waterbox (190.5)with inventory and delivery date I decided to keep it RedSea. The 625XXL is the right fit size wise for me. Maybe I "loose" some water volume not going with waterbox but I had great experience so far with RedSea so why not. Some people can say quality is better with waterbox you should of wait. Well I wanted enough and dont want to keep waiting.
So here is my choices:
Some of these are in my tank now

50 lbs Marco Rock premium shelves
30 lbs Reef saver
60 lbs original 2 year old rock structure from reefer 250 with a bunch of different corals on it.

I'm not going to lie I am scare of the move/transfer so if there is any tips or suggestions

I’m actually in the process of setting up a 625xxl with a very similar equipment list (plan to start a build thread soon). May I ask why you decided on the 6 bulb ATI fixture? I ask because lighting is my last major purchase and I’m currently deciding between the 6 or 8 bulb fixture. I think the 6 bulb fixture will put out more than enough par but am wondering about the spread front-to-back given the fixture is only 12” wide versus the tank at 26”? I’ll be following this closely. Thanks!

Awesome! I will be in the look out for your build thread. I was in the same predicament. I have been using LEDs since I started the hobby and like most of us here in R2R we read a lot of different threads. I see a lot of people having great success with T'5 specially growth. The choice of 6 bulbs was due to one of my friends have the same tank and same light at 9 inches from the tank and he has plenty of coverage and growth is all over the tank. He keeps lps kind of at the bottom and sps all over the middle and top with awesome growth. I didnt really see the reason of going 8 but to have more cost in bulbs replacements. We will se what happens once all the corals are in place. Thanks

All of my previous tanks have been < 40 gallons so have been LED lit as well. I was originally thinking about a Giesemann spectra MH/T5 light but then calculated the monthly energy cost... I was back and forth between LED and T5 but a few builds on here, particularly @FarmerTy, finally convinced me to go T5. Good luck with delivery tomorrow!

You won't be disappointed with the T5 lighting. Just plug and play results and no worries about shadowing or disco effects. Congratulations on the new tank!

Need help! I emailed bulkreefsupply and red sea... the sump divider between the return and sock holders is shutter.
I only check the tank from the outside and inside but didnt open every box. Are they going to give me a hard time replacing the sump?
I didn't even take it out of the box yet.

Following along! I ordered a Red Sea Reefer 750 XXL....it is replacing my Innovative Marine SR 80.... luckily the new tank will be in a different spot in the same room. This time around I ordered through my LFS, they will deliver it for me. I am also a nervous wreck about transferring all my fish, corals, and nems, to the new tank!!!!

By the way, did they replace your sump for you?

Congrats on your order of the 750xxl. Great tank. I'm still reading and planning my tranfer on how I'm going to do it. I have found a lot of different approach to this and if I tell you that I'm not freaking out I will be lying. I contacted bulkreefsupply and redsea regarding the sump and this is redsea response last friday:
"Good afternoon,
Thank you for sending over the pictures. We will get the sump shipped out as soon as we are done with inventory. I will email over the tracking once it ships."

Best Regards,

So we will see. Waiting on an email back with that information.

Good deal!!! Glad they are taking care of you! This is my first Red Sea tank....! So you will have to let me know how you transfer your live stock. I have 80 lbs of live rock in my current system, that will go in my new system, and I bought 50 lbs of new live rock.
