I just got my first fish and got a block of frozen Mysis shrimp to feed them. To I keep the block frozen and scrape off the little bit they will eat daily? Do I defrost the whole thing and store it in the frig? Do I have to warm it up before they eat it? Of course what I bought doesn’t have directions and their website isn’t informative either.
thanks

I should wait 24 hours before feeding them right? They are in my quarantine tank and seem to be doing ok so far
No you can try straight away, if they eat it then all good.

in my experience my fish didn’t like mysis so if they don’t eat it just try brine of something, you should be feeding a variety anyway.

Just use a sharp knife, cut it into small chunks then defrost with rodi water or tank water.
