Great deal for an awesome set up Nick. The reefoptix reflectors in the maristar are some of teh nicest in any fixture.

Yeah, times are tight for alot of people so it's understandable. It's a great price though. This unit goes for around $900-$1,000 retail.

I've ran my 72" Maristar for 3 years now and couldnt imagine any other fixture.
Definately a great deal. Wish I had a 4 ft tank.
Best of all, It's American made.

i think the reason this hasnt sold is if you do a search you can buy this unit brand new for 613.80 ,,, 599.00 for 3 1/2 years old unit is a little pricey ... would love to buy this but a little high ... good luck

That's fixture only. If you read abit more you would notice this sale includes all mounting hardware, including the hanging setup, and ballast. All the ones you're talking about are fixture only.
Times are tight, but GL with the sale !

velrui, what I am selling here in used condition with all the parts including the Blue Wave Ballast will cost around $900-$1,000 and the price was dropped to $450 BTW.

Thanks nayrgaijin for clarifying the cost new vs my for sale items. I appreciate it.

im not talking trash about you or your light because i would love to bye that light i just said that you could buy a new 1 for 600, and you were asking 599...didnt see the price drop sorry. 3 1/2 year old light on for about 8 hours a day is probally ready for a new ballest anyway ... good luck not trying to offend any one ....oh btw if you go down on your price again ill take it.....

Hi velrui,

No problem. The Bluewave ballasts are excellent and mine is working flawlessly. I'll let you know. I may have a buyer locally.

Thanks for the offer though.

Man I believe noone is buying this. I have a 36" version with the same ballast that I'm trying to sell and noone is interested.
You're not looking to trade the 48" for a 36" are you?
This is by far the best, highest quality light I've owned. I couldn't ask for anything else.
