Full of dust

My wrasse freaked out by my hippo at feeding time, and jumped through my lid through a tiny crack.. behid my tank after good few minutes of getting him. Hes back alive but full of dust. Would the dust affect him?

The dust is stuck to his slime coat. I imagine this will be replaced with clean slime.
