My marine tank starts here, continuing my dad's tank. After neglected almost a year ..
Starts in november 2017. Lots of dying coral..
IMG-20220206-WA0038.jpg

2018, got help from a friend of mine, start learning about big3, coral placement, and maintainance routine. One night in september, the glass seal broke.

2019, march, get new tank, starts with new scaping.
FB_IMG_1652948479615.jpg

2019, september, new light fixture, suddenly noticing flatworm. Applying flatworm medicine, but the result isnt as expected, kill 60% of coral population. I gave up marine for months, cool down, relearn everything.

2021, januari, come back, the 2nd time restart the whole tank, change scaping, and sand.
FB_IMG_1638404581292.jpg

2021, jun, adding my last piece of coral, the wall hammer on the right side, had brown jelly, but me being so smart, still putting it inside... ‍♂️ dang stupid me..

I started in October 2021 and have had my fair share of issues. It's getting there and slowly filling out though

This is like a rocky movie, you keep getting off the mat. I like your placement of coral, and your latest tank shows the lessons you’ve learned through the years.

sometime January of 22. Set the tank up in September of 21. Last picture is somewhere around March/April 22. I leave the back wall grown up in algae. I just think it looks more natural. Once the coralline grows over it you won’t see it anyways. My coralline growth has exploded out of nowhere here in the last month. Last pic is current. It’s water change day so the power heads need scrubbed. Far from perfect there’s some pretty rough looking corals in there. My lights burned the lenses and I didn’t notice until the UV LED shorted out. New Orpheks coming soon.
