So my 8 year old son has autism he knows some words but he’s not going to hold a conversation with you. What blows my mind is we can take him to say a hotel and he can go from the pool to the room one time and then after that he knows the way. It can be any floor or what ever. He can do this with almost anything. He has photographic memory or close to it. He’s started to do this with math. Some of the problems he will instantly say the answer to. Wish I could do that. Even in the car when going somewhere he will watch where you are going and most times knows the destination all without the use of words. Makes you think. It’s like he’s tapped into something most people can’t.
