Hey everyone!

I recently got an sps for a bargain and wanted to identify it to make sure it got the best care I could provide. under normal lighting it is an orange-ish base with blue green polyps. It is currently on the top of the frag rack in high flow and seems to be doing well.

Thats what I kind of thought, but I had heard they had more pointed ends. Or is that only the pink variety?

There are two types of birds nest. You have a Seriatopora guttatus which is more bushy. The type you are talking about is Seriatopora hystrix which have the more pointed branches. I like the green birdsnest, we have one in our tank.

Stable chemistry is a must, they are sensitive to other coral stings but can be grown in a wide variety of lighting. Beautiful coral

Stylophora or Pocillopora, it is hard to judge the pic but the stalk looks too thick for a birdsnest and judging by its encrusting the frag.
