I'm trying to decide how to place my radion g3 pros on my 180g reef.

The tank is 6x2x2 footprint. I have 4 G3 Pros. The tank has 3" eurobracing all around. I plan to run each individual light perpendicular to the length of the tank for good coverage front to back. These lights will be hung so they are adjustable for tank service. I also have the wide and regular optics for them.

I don't want to waste light on the sidewalls of the tank so I was thinking of placing light 1 and 4, 1'3" in from each side. That will leave me with 42" center to center. From there I plan to place the lights 14" apart.

So my measurements left to right would be 15" 29" 43" 57".

Does having the lights all within 42" seem strang for a 72" tank?

Would love to hear some experience/opinions from Radion users.

Thanks!

Matt
