Ritch here wanting to share my next project with the community. I must also say thank you to the many fellow reefers that have helped, shared, sold, and taught me along this path of a saltwater enthusiast.

So on to the build, I have another thread somewhere on here of my current tank(1 of many) which is a 150 gallon DT. This new tank is a custom built from Miracles Aquarium. My goal will be a mix reef but more SPS. Been having good result with dosing trace and aminos I wanna keep that going.

Equipment list:

Miracle tank - 60x30x24 Rimless with peninsula overflow
Custom metal stand
Bashsea SS-48 sump
Unsure with return pumps I will have 2 one return only with the second running a manifold. Either ecotech or a varios
Deltec 1500xi Skimmer
External about 30gallon refugium
2 Ecotech MP60 powerhead
Ecotech Versa doser x4
Maxspect Gyre 350x 2
Finnex 800w &500w titanium heater with controller
Geo 818 calcium reactor with second chamber, kamor pump
Ghl 2.1 doser
Neptune controller with 2 EB823
T5 Hybrid lights with unsure what other lights now been debating the Neptune sky

Unsure exactly how this will all piece out but let’s go!!

Little status update

So I’ve been testing all the plumbing even redoing the plumbing make sure there’s no leaks no situation. Also got a little help from a fellow member helping me build a floating light fixture @Reefer Reboot I have been currently waiting for pieces to come in for the past 2 weeks

The MP60s are over kill in my opinion. I think you would be better off with4 mp40s to replace those two 60s.
Yeah I been contemplating on that as well but think I don’t wanna have anything on the far end of the tank
Since I have some Neptune’s wavs and gyre possibly going to add a gyre on the far end

Finally got 80/20 parts and started my drilling, tapping, and building my new floating fixture. Wasn’t as bad I thought it would be in my mind here is where we are now.
