$30 just about fills it up, at a 2.89/gallon regular. lasts me 3 or 4 days maybe

gas is $2.40 here, we dont have any special ethanol grades in this area thank goodness.

i can get by 2-3 weeks on one fill up in my 96 dodge avenger as long as i dont do any traveling other than to work/grocery store/out to eat. i live pretty close to work too, about 15min. i live in a small town, so the nearest civilization is a good 40min drive...lol

2, 3 weeks?? are you serious?? here in RI is not so bad, but only like 10 ~20 cents cheaper than NY ~2.69/gallon. I heard that up in cali that it was already upto 3, 4 bucks per gallon?? my cali buddies are all thinking of just getting scooters or bikes to travel loll

i dont drive that much, and when i do, its only to work/grocery store/going out to eat, which are all within 10 miles of my apartment.

and half the time i go to the grocery store, or out to eat, my girlfriend drives her car...

when i drive to the nearest city every 2 weeks or so, that hurts b/c thats like 1/2 my tank after i get back.

We are around 2.79 a gallon here. I go through about 120.00 a week in gas. I am a dog walker so I drive all over Washington DC. It stinks.

At $3.36 to $3.69 per gallon, it sucks here too. Between my wife and I, we spend about $500-$600 on gas per month. My brother spends $750 a month by himself!

BTW, in Bridgeport CA, they are paying up to $4.19 per gallon!

WOW 2.40 for gas, forget the civic I would drive a 16 wheeler around town. Almost a dollar more in socal

I dont know what you guys are complainign about, over here in the UK its the equivalent of over $7 per US gallon :banghead:

I work very close to home but my hubby drives about 25 miles or so. Its almost worth it to bite the monthly payment of a third energy efficient car then for him to fill the Durango all the time.
