Gate valve in size

Im redoing the plumbing for my new stand. I plan on upgrading from a true union ball valve to a gate valve. Is the one on marine depot the same as the one on brs. The “spears” brand. Im asking because the marine depot one is cheaper. And i also need to buy more unions from them anyway.

I would email Marine Depot and ask them if the brand they sell is Spears made. I general use Spears valves as they are well made.

This is my go to website. I always compare prices to bulk Reef and Marine Depot. I used their gate valves, ball valves and check valves on my system as well as all of their schedule 80 fittings.
