the input tube fit perfectly into a hose pipe we had laying around, so I put it into that, and connected it to a basement tap which is used for the washing machine(which has hose screws onto it) and that works perfect, just rmbr to disconnect the hose pipe from the tap when u done :D
ohhh okay, thanks

Hello, I just got the geekpure 3 stage ro stystem(im a teen so..) and idk if my parents will really allow me to drill into the water pipes on a sink, so can I install it on a faucet(the faucet is more like a hollow screw, it has threads at the end of it) instead of drilling into a pipe? and are there any easier and less destructive ways to installing one?
thanks,
stewy14
Yes get compression fitting valves that can accept half inch pipe . I used half inch copper to quarter inch tube

. Much nicer

This is how mine is hooked up in wash room( hardware store has the fitting) drain to drain for washer. I know the hose is red but that’s the cold side. No drilling .

I don't know of any fitting that will magically attach itself to pipe. Maybe you can find a quarter inch compression to go to the rodi and the other end has a female thread meant to go on a tap outlet , or a combination of things to achieve that . The start is to get it attached to the tap outlet usually at a laundry tub.

Here is another idea . You can buy the part to accept the piece of hose then be inventive . I know a piece of three eights copper tube will fit in the open end of the hose . The rest would depend on your knowledge and understanding of terms for me o go further . No offense but I think you are pretty green. Get the hose take it to the hardware store that an experienced person works or better yet a dedicated plumbing outlet. Take your rodi with you or if the instructions

are clear as to the inlet size take that . the rodi would be better. Anything is doable. The tubing that goes inside the hose will be sealed by gear clamps . If you can find the type of fitting as above on the right your set. Just mount your Rodi by the laundry tub , and only hook it up when you use it. That way mom and dad will be happy

I used a hose connector like for outside hose which split it at the faucet for the washer hookup. That fitting in my pic for the rodi unit can be found at any hardware store. Easy turn on and off. No cutting and easy removal if needed .
