Can someone tell me where to get a power supply for the generator 6 xr30 that isn’t $275? And when I go on eco techs website, they sell the power supply and it says compatible with gen 4, gen 5 and gen6, but I could have swore the 6’s were bigger….

I think it’s only a lens change for the six as well . Power supply should be the same . As far as finding one cheaper go look on the sales page here or check out face book . Used would be the cheapest That I know

First one needs to know the gen6 xr30s original power supply output ratings.
Believe it's 36v DC and around 6A.

This was listed as the g4 ps.

Looks correct. Need to verify
Correct voltage US critical.
Amps, not so much as long as there are enough or more.

Plug matching is your responsibility.

Ok, but the plug does look different. Is that something I can cut off my original and put on new one, or is that a risky maneuver?

No not particularly risky.
You would need a vom to match polarity.
On the power supply you will see the plus/ minus location on the plug.

If you can find the adapter even easier.
I *assume* the light has a barrel jack. Only need to measure the diameter of the center pin
2.1 or 2.5

Normally center is usually positive

Oh the DIN plug has like 2 circuits, you only use 1.

AI says plugs" proprietary" on the light.
Looks like a standard barrel jack to me.

Found this one though.

If it's not counterfeit it does have at least this safety mark.

Oddly the above sample only has 7 digits.

Did the 2 plugs and ps at mouser
Stupid tariffs .
