Generator saved my tank

Well.....

I got home from wor around 4:30 yesterday to find the power was out. we had some storms mve through the area and i figured it would be brought back online quickly. After 2 hrs i decided to get my trusty 15 year old generator out and got my pumps running. Good thing i did, because the power didnt come back on until 3:30 this morning.

if i would have waited the 11 hr without taking action, i am sure i would have had some losses.

cost of generator: couple hundred
livestock: few thousand

why everyone doesnt have a generator for backup? only you can answer that

I have a small generator for backup that saved my tank when we were out of power for 3 days. If I didn't have it the tank surely would have been a total loss... $80 on sale at Harbor Freight saved thousands in livestock. Worthy investment I do agree.
