Anyone have experience with mixing Genicanthus Angels?

IMG_0389.jpeg

I have a male Japanese swallowtail (zebra) and I am wondering if he would get along with a female Bellus? Anyone ever try the two in one tank? If its a bad idea im going to just get a female swallowtail to accompany him...

If your tank is an ideal size then you can give it a try, mixing angels is a tricky thing when not done correctly and in a tank of insufficient capacity, even having these two points covered can be difficult, Genicanthus can mix with each other but you need to have a plan B if it doesn't work, you need a split in the tank so that the two fish interact without having contact with each other, that will show you which way to go next, hopefully there will be no more than a couple of chases or even indifference between the two fish.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
