Hello All,

I am planning on getting back into the Hobby as I found a good deal on a 90 Gallon Tank, Sump (30Gallon Acrylic) and stand.

The tank is not drilled for an overflow so I plan on doing that and using the Eshops Prodigy plumb with the Bean Animal overflow.

Adding to the above I plan to get, I'd like to see if there are any recommendations or changes you would suggest. While I don't want to spend a fortune I'd be willing to spend a little more if it means significant benefit and as well if it looks like I am wasting my money on some I'd also be interested in knowing. I would also like some advice on stocking ideas.

Tank90 Gallon
Sump30 Gallon
OverflowProdigy Large Low Profile Overflow Box
Return PumpSicce Syncra Silent 4.0
Rock100lbs of Rock
Sand100lbs Carbisea Arag-Alive Special Grade
Heater2x 100W Ehiem Jager
Protein SkimmerBubble Magus Curve 7
Wave Maker2x Maxspec Jump Gyre GF316
ATOSmart ATO Lite
Lighting1x Radeon XR30G4 Pro 1x AI Prime HD+ (already own both)

Coral wise I want to do a Mixed Reef with LPS and SPS eventually I will plan to add a dosing pump (and perhaps update the lighting if needed)

Fish Wise I am thinking the following but could use some help in fleshing out the rest and preferred order to add them.

FishQuantity
Clownfish2
Yellow Tang1
Birstletooth Tang1
Goby/Shrimp1 Pair
Wrasse?

Thanks!

The one thing that stands out to me is that if you are setting up a standard 90-gallon tank, it will look weird with one prime and one XR30. I would want identical lights on either side of the center brace for aesthetics. Having these 2 different lights will not give a uniform appearance, and it would drive me crazy. The fish and coral won't care, but it would really bug me.

Good plan with realistic stocking expectations and top shelf equipment.

I’d add an INKBIRD 306 wifi controller to plug your two heaters into so in the event of failure, and it will happen, you don’t fry everything in your tank.

Worth every penny!

Good luck, list is good, I don’t use those gyres or lights, way to expensive for me, I use the Jebao gyres and Nicrew lights.

Good luck.

I agree which is part of why I posted this, maybe ill look for a second hand XR30G4.

I'd maybe look into a DC pump instead of the Sicce Syncra Silent 4. I had a Silent 2 and there was always an audible humming noise I could hear from the other side of the room. The pump was sitting on a rubber mat and had soft plumbing up to a union before being connected to the PVC plumbing, but whenever I walked out in the morning it was the first thing I heard. I replaced it with a Jebao DCP-3500 and it's dead silent.
