My orchid dottyback eats like a pig whenever I use frozen food. Won’t touch pellets though. Won’t even come up to try ‘em. Trying to get the tank used to an auto feeder if I’m ever out for extended periods of time. Any tips?

I would maybe start off by soaking some of the pellets in with the frozen food and feeding it at the same time (over time) Then once he recognizing the shape and is eating it consistently try without soaking. If you have other fish in there with the dottyback and they eat the soaked pellets it should help as well. Are you using sinking pellets?- Raven

I've tried soaking pellets with the frozen food a couple of times, but the dottyback picks out the frozen. Everything else in the tank doesn't really discriminate. I use floating NLS Thera A pellets.
