Getting ready to say goodbye to old Foxface

I think that my Magnificent Foxface Frank is nearing the end. Recently he seems a bit off. He is still eating (he was munching on a cockle today) but seems a lot slower. He looks down a lot these days. He's my oldest resident. My Tomini Tang is 1 month less, but that's a 20 year fish.

He's still out and about, but he doesn't fight with his reflection anymore. His colors are also still beautiful. So his time is near, but not today.

Looking back, he showed up in my pictures in 2017, so he's at least 8 years old. As far as I can tell, that's pretty good for these guys.

Beautiful fish... IME, as long as they are eating, they are still doing okay.
