A friend of mine is getting rid of some chalices really cheap so I had to buy the whole lot.

Here's what I'm getting:

Tyree Miami Hurricane - 33 eyes
Tyree Original Mummy Eye - 2 eyes
Grape Hybrid Watermelon - 5 eyes (no namer)
Golden Fleece (aka 24kt Gold) - 2 eyes
Blue w/ Yellow Eyes - 10 eyes (no namer)

I'm getting the whole group for a steal at $225. I'll post pics when I finally get them. I'll be meeting him sometime this week. I don't know why he's selling them so cheap, but I'm striking while the iron is hot. He sent me pics and they look a little faded, but I'll be able to color them up good in no time.

Do you guys think this is a good deal to jump on?

Thanks guys. I actually picked them up about 1/2 hour ago. They're floating in the tank right now. They are pretty washed out at the moment and don't have much color to them. They all have their feeder tentacles out in the bags so I guess they're healthy and hungry. I'll feed them this evening to make them a bit happier. He also threw in a free frag of Roscoe's Blue Acro which I thought was a nice gesture. I'm hoping I can color them up in a few weeks.

I'm liking chalices more and more the longer I'm in the hobby, so yes, I'm happy with them and I think I got a good deal. I'll post some bleached out pics shortly.

Here are the pics of the faded chalices.

The Tyree OME is bleached the worst.

How often does everyone feed their chalices? I try to feed mine 2x per week at least, but no more than 3x. I just feed a mix of mysis and cyclops.
