I noticed your Tool reference....my second-to-last band was friendly with Tool. I doubt Maynard would recognize me or remember my name, but he did bake cookies for one of our rehearsals and handed me a cigar the day after his first child was born, LOL. I once had lunch with him and Adam Jones and two members of my band, I just sat there quietly, afraid to reveal how starstruck I was. This was not quite 20 years ago. I'm still facebook-friends with our lead singer, and she occasionally tours with Puscifer. That's as close as I get to cool anymore.
