Does water release saturated phosphate after saturation? How can I realize if it's saturated?

I don't think gfo will release phosphates back.

If you have gfo inside a reactor, you can test the phosphates coming thru it's output to determine when it's time to re-charge with new gfo, or when phosphates rise in your main display.

Testing your phosphates is the key.
