i have a aqueon 75 g reef tank and am looking to put a gfo reactor as a hang on. I do not have a sump. I have the phosban 150 and the aquamaxx , neither of them fit on my rim to hang on the back. Does anyone have ideas? Can I put a 5 gallon tank under tank and just hang on that and pull from the tank to reactor and back into tank?

Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I've taken a little saw to the plastic on aqueon tanks before to make things like skimmers fit properly. As long as you're only cutting the thin lip, it wont weaken the structure. I've seen people cut more than that and not have issues, but I probably wouldn't.
A slightly worse solution would be to throw the GFO in a bag and stick it in a HOB filter.

Have you tried a Two Little Fish 550 models or get a Aqua Maxx Shorty from Marine Depot they have a HOB model?
