After 2.5 months I have finally beat my diatoms and am loving the clean sand bed and glass! Unfortunately I’m noticing the GHA starting to pop up. I have 5 Astrea snails for the rocks and a conch for the sand. 10 corals ( candy cane, 2 lords, a Duncan, 2 zoas, a neon sinularia, hammer, jack o lepto, mushroom and an echinata), two clowns and a royal gramma (haven’t seen the gramma since adding the Nero 3).

15 gal Helloreef tank with a sicce nano voyager (240gph) and an ai Nero 3 set to random max 30% flow. My latest parameters are;

Lighting schedule with my ai blade is;

What CUC members should I add to help with the GHC? I was thinking 5 blue legs, a couple Mexican turbos, worried about an urchin knocking over my corals, and maybe some snails to eat leftover food?

I do 17% water changes a week and probably feed too much so I’ll cut that down. But my nutrients aren’t crazy high. Flow is great after adding the Nero so no dead spots.

Controlling the feeding is the best thing you can do, excess food rotting in the water is the main cause for green hair algae. Your nitrate and phosphate is higher than I like to see on my 15 gallon.

But your on the right track, adding more flow and more cuc are the right things to do. I wouldn't put an urchin in my 15 gallon, but snails and hermits will help. Your tank looks very nice.
